The 2008 meeting brings the International Society of Portrait Artists to beautiful Hawaii for a time of creative inspiration and discussion. Special guest speaker will be the Society's own William Branson, whose lifelike portraits are inspired by the great Master Painters. Branson has an international reputation for exquisite portraiture, and has recently been inducted into the Cameracraftsmen, a prestigious fellowship of 40 photographers worldwide.
In other news, Tim Kelly led a sold-out seminar at his Florida studio on March 3-5 this year. Greg Daniels will be leading an advanced portrait/fine art seminar in Victoria, Canada in July.& Mark Brandes of California has added a second gallery in Costa Mesa to his already thriving studio in Westlake Village.
